The big day is Saturday and Meghan Markle’s father is being a royal pain. Kensington Palace was surprised to hear Thomas Markle tell TMZ he wouldn’t be attending his daughter’s wedding to Prince Harry, following reports of his participation in a staged paparazzi shoot that appeared to show him trying on formalwear. The royals had reportedly made arrangements for his being there. Now, according to TMZ, Thomas will attend if he gets medical clearance from his doctor. He’s set to undergo heart surgery Wednesday to clear a blockage, repair damage and insert a stent.
