Guilty in slay of ex-gal pal

A Brooklyn jury took just an hour Monday to convict a man caught on several surveillance cameras murdering his ex-girlfriend.

Rolanso Lexune was found guilty of strangling Deneisha Smith with his bare hands in 2016 inside the Bedford Ave. cell phone repair store were she worked.

“This was a brutal and vicious assault of an innocent woman who had her whole life ahead of her,” said Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez.

The murder was captured on nine of the store’s surveillance cameras.

Lexune faces 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced on June 11.
