YANKS, NATS TAKE COVER, COME OUT AGAIN TODAY

-

It is supposed to rain all day, however, which complicates things.

“My understanding is that if we don’t get it in we’re going (to Kansas City on Thursday), but I’m sure those will be things that they’ve got to work through over the next 24 hours if the weather doesn’t cooperate,” Aaron Boone said.

Both teams have off Thursday, but Boone cited hotel issues — among other things. Plus, the Nationals are slated to have a charity event that evening as well. And, of course, the weather forecast isn’t promising that day, either.

Tuesday night, Boone was unsure who would take the mound for the bottom of the sixth. — — AP
