With lots of parking, dining and entertainment options, plus concierge teams and on-site stylists, Bergen malls offer everything from teachers’ gifts to prom makeup, not to mention the great stand-by staple: gift cards.
During this busy time of year, having a seamless experience is a gift in itself. With almost 300 shops and over 50 shops unique to the trade area, Westfield Garden State Plaza has the best retailers in every retail category from everyday basic to their luxury collection of shops. Fir gift-giving inspiration, Westfield Garden State Plaza also has a helpful gift list by category on its site. Highlights include smart watches, fitness wearables, wireless speakers and virtual reality devices for gadget lovers; sunglasses, favorite team merch or sports gear for sports fans and a GoPro, hiking boots or a fleece jacket for outdoor adventurers. Malls are more inviting than ever, offering healthy dining, popup seasonal events and a wide selection of tenants. New stores and restaurants at Westfield include Sugarfina, Stewart’s, Fabletics and Altice among others. Newly opened options are Bar Louie, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, Fabletics, Natura Brasil, Dr. Martens, Amazon Books, Kneipp, Saje Natural Wellness, Stewart’s All American. “Coming soon, look for Morphe, Charles Tyrwhitt, Tomato & Co., Carlitos, AutoDrop Car Wash, and additional exciting retailers,” says Herrmann-Srednicki.
Mall food is not always fresh and healthy, but that, too, is changing. “Many of our restaurants and eateries feature healthy menu items. Zinburger, Capital Grille, Grand Lux Café, Bar Louie, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, Nordstom’s Bazille, and Neiman Marcus’s The Rotunda to name a few,” says Herrmann-Srednicki. In May and June, Westfield mall hosts the Garden State Public Market, a pop-up foodie event every Thursday, Friday and Saturday through June with various food vendors and special events in the evenings.
