A GUNFIGHT on a Brooklyn street left one man dead and two more wounded — and ended with the killer taking a cell phone picture of the slain man’s body, his distraught family members said.

Gunfire erupted on Hewes St. and South Third St. in Williamsburg just before 1 p.m. on Wednesday. At least 10 shell casings from at least two different guns littered the street.

“There was a group of guys s cursing, arguing with each other,” said witness Mario Rodriguez, 50, of the moments s before the shoot- ing started.

Police believe e the slain man, , Valentin Cruz, 20 0 (photo inset), ex- changed fire with his killer, cop sources said, although family members told the Daily News he didn’t have a gun.

Cruz was hit once in the head, cops said. He was rushed to Woodhull Medical Center, where he died.

“He was supposed to be in school today, but I don’t know why he wasn’t there. I don’t know what he was doing on the street,” Cruz’s uncle Ramon Cruz, 48, said. “The guy who shot him took a picture of him after he shot him in the head.” He said the shooter “was sent there to kill him,” noting his nephew lived just a block away.

A 21-year-old man shot once in the chest walked bleeding into the 90th Precinct stationhouse. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is expected to survive. A 19-year-old man shot in the back was taken to Woodhull with a non-life-threatening injury.

Jason, 17, a cousin of Valentin who declined to give his last name, said Cruz rapped under the name Val’Gz. “It was rivals. It was no gang affiliation. He got set up,” Jason said. There were no immediate arrests, police said.
