A WOMAN drove a car through the fence of a Queens school and abandoned a 1-year-old girl in the arms of a stranger Wednesday, police said.

The driver crashed her gray Honda Civic into a wrought-iron fence outside Elizabeth Blackwell Middle School at the corner of 101st Ave. and 93rd St. in Ozone Park around 6:25 p.m., cops said.

The woman stepped out of the car with the toddler in her arms, gave the girl to a bystander and ran off, authorities said.

“She was screaming, and all I saw is that she handed her baby to somebody and she ran off,” said Karen Nieves, 36, who lives across the street from the scene.

“All I know is that the mom was holding the baby,” Nieves explained. “I thought that was disgusting. How could you leave the baby and run off?”

Police would not say where they were keeping the little girl, or if the woman who left her was her mother.
