YouTube shooter sought job there

- Megan Cerullo

THE WOMAN who opened fire on workers at YouTube headquarters in California had stopped by the office the day before and inquired about employment, police said Thursday.

Nasim Aghdam, 39, spent about 10 minutes at the YouTube campus in San Bruno on April 2, cops there said.

Aghdam asked for directions to the main office and was sent to the front desk, where she asked about working for the video company, police said.

A day later, Aghdam showed up at the Silicon Valley building, pulled a pistol out of her purse and began indiscriminately firing into a crowd of staffers eating lunch outside. She then shot herself to death.

Three innocent people were shot in the attack and a fourth person injured her ankle running away.

Aghdam accused YouTube of censoring her videos and ruining her career as an internet star.
