5 hurt in bar fight over gal
A MAN WHO objected to a stranger trying to dance with his girlfriend was stabbed, and his four pals were slashed, during a bar brawl early Saturday in Midtown, officials said.
The 27-year-old victim, his girlfriend and pals were partying inside the Turtle Bay bar on Second Ave. near E. 52nd St. about 12:30 a.m. when another man strutted up and tried to dance with the young woman, triggering an argument, witnesses told police.
Moments later, the rejected dancer flashed a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest, then, along with an accomplice, slashed at the man’s friends, who sustained minor wounds.
Medics rushed all five victims to Weill Cornell Medical Center for treatment.
The two attackers ran off. No arrests have been made.
