Imagining Nicki as a Shady lady

- BY AMY ROWE

EMINEM IS cleaning out his closet, and he has news for Nicki Minaj.

“I’m gonna tell you something about Nicki that she don’t even know,” Eminem told a crowd at the Governors Ball Music Festival. “We go together.”

The “Cleanin’ Out My Closet” rapper continued his relationship tease, shouting out Minaj from yet another stage on Randalls Island.

The Real Slim Shady sent tongues wagging after the song “Big Bank,” which features a guest appearance with Minaj, dropped Friday.

“Told them I met Slim Shady, bag the Em/Once he go black, he’ll be back again,” she raps.

Days earlier, Minaj, 35, tweeted that she was trying to get Eminem to rap on her album.

In the meantime, the Detroit-born Marshall Mathers, 45, had to settle for sharing the state with 50 Cent.

Eminem, who freestyled a scathing diss rap about President Trump last year, also got political.

He said this “country’s been going through a lot of bulls--t lately,” after he said he was happy to be back in the U.S. following some European tour dates.

Fireworks shot out from the main stage during Eminem’s set. The hitmaker ran through new songs and old, but the crowd strayed from the pyrotechnics after the chilly day ended in more rain to cap off the precipitation-prone festival.
