If it’s your birthday

-

One essential skill for living in our society is learning how not to be intimidated by those who seemingly have more power than you. No matter how considerate others may be, it will always be you who chooses to have the courage to act on your will, and on your intelligence. People are people; we’re all in this together, which is a beautiful thing. You share a birthday with Freddy Fender, Michelle Phillips, and Russell Brand. MARCH 21-APRIL 19 Sometimes it’s necessary to take action for the greater good. In fact, it’s necessary nearly all the time, though not everyone takes the opportunity. If you have a chance to do the right thing when you might ordinarily do nothing, that should be an easy decision to make. APRIL 20-MAY 20 If you have something to say to someone, say it to them directly. Don’t put it up on Twitter. There is such a thing as private, and this is particularly important for you, since you will feel the impact of whatever you say. Seek understanding and forgiveness above all. MAY 21-JUNE 20 The truth matters, and it doesn’t always reveal itself on demand. You must sort through what different people are saying, and understand why exactly they’re taking the positions they are. That’s the most important layer of meaning: the motives involved. Watch closely. JUNE 21-JULY 22 You know what is right, and don’t let anyone convince you otherwise -- no matter how assured they may seem. It’s the facts that matter, and what they point to. It also matters what emotion is behind someone’s thoughts, words and deeds; listen carefully for that. JULY 23-AUG. 22 Continue to be vigilant about anything resembling rumors or gossip. Do not repeat what you hear, and if something seems particularly serious and has any direct influence on you, quietly seek to get several different sides of the story. This could easily take a week or more. AUG. 23-SEPT. 22 We simultaneously live in a time when the term “fact checker” has been used more often than any time in history; and when, if something appears on Twitter, it must be true. You will need to choose what side of that particular fence you’re sitting on. Be advised: the truth matters. SEPT. 23-OCT. 22 Make sure that your leadership style is open and inclusive. You need a concrete strategy -- don’t just proceed on the basis of what feels good, particularly if that means trusting people with no basis to do so. You are better off going with Plan A, which calls for a conservative approach. OCT. 23-NOV. 21 You never know who will be impacted by your thoughts or your ideas, so it’s important to be cautious about what you say. Many different life lessons have taught you that your words have influence, and now is the time to ensure that you proceed with the utmost integrity. NOV. 22-DEC. 21 These days, it seems like one can be accused of being untrustworthy merely for being kind. Don’t make that mistake: it will work out to be a form of intentional injury if you do. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Allow them the opportunity to explain themselves. DEC. 22-JAN. 19 You’re something of a tough customer these days, but do you really need to be? The weather is much too nice to go out wearing a suit of psychic armor, or even a helmet. When you do, you cannot move freely, or feel the beauty of when someone cares about you, even if you want to. JAN. 20-FEB. 18 The Moon in your sign will give you some keen information today, if you let go of any anger. Holding on to negative emotions will cloud your intuition. Though it may feel good, it’s not helping you or anyone; so let go and move on. Reality is on your side and it always was. FEB. 19-MARCH 20 The Sun and Mercury will be forming a square aspect to Neptune in your birth sign over the next 48 hours, and you may make some kind of major discovery. Keep it under your hat for now; don’t water it down or let it get away from you. Concentrate your energy and more data will come.
