Jon Hamm and his “Tag” co-stars were careful not to further harm Jeremy Renner, who broke both his arms early in production in a stunt gone wrong, yet continued to shoot his scenes wearing green-screen casts.

“We were just really hyperaware of it and knew the risk he was taking,” Hamm (above right with Renner) told the Daily News. “The man, you know, he’s Hawkeye. We didn’t want to break Marvel’s toy and say, like, ‘Well, here you go. Sorry, we broke it. He won’t be able to do the next five ‘Avengers’ movies.”
