Gang? Bang! 15 face drug raps
MORE THAN a dozen dope-dealing Brooklyn gangbangers are about to learn who’s really the boss.
Manhattan federal prosecutors announced a sprawling indictment Wednesday against 15 members of the “Boss Crew,” an armed gang they said sold crack cocaine and heroin in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The operation stretched back at least to 2015, according to court papers.
The takedown charged everyone from the Boss Crew’s alleged head, Tyshawn Burgess, 24, to its street-level distributors.
Burgess and several other defendants face charges carrying up to lifetime imprisonment if convicted.
Manhattan U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said the men “were allegedly members of a street gang that terrorized a Brooklyn neighborhood.”
