It’s a rockin’ good time at B’klyn fest
INDIE ROCK goddess Liz Phair and the Texas-bred band Parquet Courts are among hundreds of musicians taking over Brooklyn clubs in Williamsburg and Greenpoint this week.
The Northside Festival, running through Sunday, marks its 10th anniversary this year. Launched in 2009 by brothers and Bostonborn Brooklyn transplants Daniel and Scott Stedman, Northside aims to be the city’s answer to South by Southwest by giving a platform to emerging artists and bringing tech innovators together.
The fest has transformed over the years along with the borough’s booming neighborhoods, Daniel Stedman told the Daily News.
