Let Marty keep his cash

Bronx: Re “‘Disabled’ Brooklyn pol a $1M pension highflier” (June 4): I honestly don’t see what’s at all wrong with state Sen. Marty Golden’s receiving a senator’s salary and a very generous disability city pension for injuries suffered while being an NYC cop paid with taxpayers’ money just because he skydives. Skydiving can be done by anyone regardless of their disability. All it takes is putting on an parachute that automatically opens at a safe height and being pushed out an open door while an airplane is in flight. And let’s say you’re terrified of flying or just of open doors. Just enough horse tranquilizers not to kill you will do the trick.
