ANGEL OF THE MOURNING

Country star Walker Hayes revealed Wednesday night that his newborn daughter died shortly after her birth earlier that day.

“It is with great sadness that Laney and I share with you the news that our sweet Oakleigh Klover Hayes was born this morning at the hospital and is now safely in heaven,” Hayes (above) said in a statement. “Thank you for honoring our privacy as we grieve.”

Hayes, 38, announced he’s canceling his upcoming performances to spend time with his wife, Laney, and six kids.
