Stormy ex-att’y sues right back
PORN STAR Stormy Daniels’ former lawyer filed a countersuit against her and her attorney, Michael Avenatti, on Thursday, accusing them of defamation and denouncing their claim that he “colluded” with longtime Trump fixer Michael Cohen.
Keith Davidson’s suit, filed in a Los Angeles federal court, charges he only ever tried to maximize Daniels’ payout in exchange for her signing a nondisclosure agreement shortly before the 2016 election that bars her from speaking publicly about allegedly having sex with President Trump in 2006.
Davidson said Avenatti has made “countless reckless and false” statements about him, including the charge in a lawsuit filed Wednesday that he worked behind the scenes with Cohen while still representing Daniels.
The countersuit also includes allegations that Cohen illegally recorded phone calls with Davidson.
Trump denies having sex with Daniels.
