$100,000 for smack in noodle

- Megan Cerullo

A CONNECTICUT woman collected more than $100,000 in damages after a flying bowl of pasta put an al dente in her head.

An allegedly drunken man whacked Constance Koulmey with the malevolent macaroni dish as she walked out of Roma’s Ristorante in Oakville, Conn., according to the lawsuit.

James Sweeney of Spring Lake, N.J., fired the entree at a different target: His opponent in an escalating restaurant argument in March 2015.

The wayward toss sent the spicy fra diavolo sauce dripping into Koulmey’s face and eyes before she fell and smashed her head inside the eatery, according to a lawsuit.

As a result, Koulmey suffered a concussion, experienced eye pain, burning and blurry vision — ailments she fears could be permanent, according to the suit.

She also lost a scarf and her fur coat was damaged by the sauce and her fall, court paperwork revealed. A jury awarded the cash to Koulmey on May 31.

The unexpected blow also caused her to fall and hit her head, according to the lawsuit.

Sweeney admitted to hurling the pasta but denied causing any injuries.

Criminal charges were dismissed against the Jersey shore denizen.
