CUNY journalism school on gift li$t

CRAIGSLIST founder Craig Newmark donated $20 million to fund programs at the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism – and to honor his gift, the school is changing its name.

The school says the tech billionaire’s donation will enable the school to recruit additional faculty, develop new programs and pursue activities that support greater trust in journalism.

The Midtown school will be renamed the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York this summer, school officials said.
