Wolfe leaves all to kin
“New journalism” pioneer Wolfe left his estate to wife and two kids, acto his will. The “Electric Kool-Aid Test” author left his of 40 years, Sheila, “all the tangible personal and “all my right, title and interest to any real property and any cooperative apartment used by me or my family as a residence,” the legal filing says.
Wolfe, who died May 14 of an infection in New York at age 88, left the rest of the estate — including rights to his books — to his wife and his children, Alexandra and Tommy.
Probate paperwork filed alongside the will Thursday does not give an extensive breakdown of Wolfe’s assets, but indicates his estate is worth more than $500,000.
Wolfe also said in his will that he wanted to be cremated — and that money from the estate be set aside for “perpetual care” of his grave site.
Wolfe’s will was signed in August 2015.
