Nathan’s: Franks a lot, judge

- BY STEPHEN REX BROWN

Not everyone can be “Famous.”

The legal beef is between Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs and a street vendor selling franks from his “Natten’s Famous” cart.

Samir Ibrahim, 35, presented photos in Manhattan Federal Court Friday showing that he’d covered up the “Natten’s” logos that Judge Valerie Caproni said violated the Nathan’s Famous trademark.

“You can’t go back to Natten’s,” Caproni told Ibrahim, making her previous order permanent.

The Daily News exclusively reported on the feud earlier this month.

Ibrahim, of Queens, had sold hot dogs from a legit Nathan’s cart but was fired, the company said. He then started selling hot dogs from the Natten’s cart at Central Park South and Sixth Ave.
