LOCKLEAR OD SCARE
Star hospitalized hours after arrest for kicking officer
Heather Locklear, who was arrested late Sunday for allegedly kicking a police officer and an EMT, was reportedly hospitalized just hours after being released Monday.
The Ventura County Sheriff's Department told the Daily News that officers went to her Thousand Oaks, Calif., home to assist on a medical call, which TMZ said was an unknown person claiming the “Melrose Place” alum had overdosed.
Locklear, 56, was reportedly taken from her home to the hospital, although the Ventura County Fire Department would not confirm.
The incident comes after Locklear's Sunday night arrest for kicking a police officer in the leg. Police, called to the home of the former “Dynasty” beauty about a dispute, told The News that the “heavily intoxicated” actress then proceeded to kick an EMT in the chest while being placed onto a gurney.
Locklear was taken to the hospital, then transferred to jail and charged with battery on a police officer and the EMT. She posted her $20,000 bail Monday morning.
Hours later, an ambulance, fire truck and police car were back at her house.
The troubled actress was expected to voluntarily check herself into the hospital for alcohol abuse and mental issues, though TMZ reported that she is now there involuntarily.
Locklear's rep did not immediately return a request for comment.
The Sunday night arrest comes four months after the troubled actress was booked on suspicion of domestic violence, as well as three counts of battery on emergency personnel, after police said she kicked and pushed officers who had responded to the scene of a domestic dispute.
Earlier this month, Locklear was hospitalized for a psych evaluation after a family member told police the actress was searching for a gun to shoot herself with, TMZ reported.
