GOPer: Roe must stand
Republican Sen. Susan Collins said Sunday that a Supreme Court nominee who would overturn the case guaranteeing a right to abortion “would not be acceptable.”
The Maine U.S. senator will be a key vote on President Trump’s nominee to fill a seat on the Supreme Court set to be vacated by Justice Anthony Kennedy, who is retiring.
“A candidate for this important position who would overturn Roe vs. Wade would not be acceptable to me,” Collins said on ABC’s “This Week.”
