‘Jewish Spidey’ is caught in web

With great power comes great criminal responsibility.

A disturbed Long Island resident told cops he is the “Jewish Spider-Man” after he climbed the side of a building and broke into a Diamond District business through a second-floor window, the Daily News has learned.

Matthew Cohen, 30, was snared in a web of his own making when employees at the W. 47th St. office reported the break-in around 4 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said.

Cohen told a responding police officer he’d been “scaling the building like a Jewish Spider-man,” court papers say.

He was arraigned on burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespass charges in Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday for the not-sofriendly neighborhood feat.
