Bathrobed bandit swipes vacuum in S.I. break-in

This crook really cleaned up.

A burglar clad only in a white bathrobe ransacked a Staten Island home and made off with a television and vacuum cleaner, police said Thursday.

The robber slipped through a first-floor window of the house near Hickory and Bionia Aves. about 10:40 p.m. on June 23.

Cops released surveillan­ce photos of the suspect Thursday and asked for the public’s help identifyin­g and locating him.

He is described as white, between 30 and 40 years old with dark brown hair, a beard, about 180 pounds and about 5-foot-9.
