Lawyer: McCoy planned attack in move to boot her from home & get back bling

The brutal assault that left the estranged girlfriend of Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy beaten and bloody was orchestrated by the NFL star amid his ongoing efforts to evict her from his Georgia mansion, according to the woman’s lawyer.

Attorney Tanya Mitchell Graham made the allegations in connection with the violent robbery at McCoy’s residence in Atlanta on Tuesday morning. Delicia Cordon was sleeping when an unidentified assailant entered the house around 3 a.m. and demanded “specific pieces of jewelry” that had been gifted to her by the football star.

McCoy slammed the allegations as “totally baseless” and has retained prominent Atlanta defense attorney Don Samuel.

Cordon’s friend, Mia Boykin, similarly blamed McCoy for the attack in an Instagram post. She also accused the running back of previously beating his dog “into kidney failure” and attacking his son in a caption she shared alongside a graphic image of Cordon’s bloody face.

“I can’t believe you did this to my best friend! YOUR KARMA IS GOING TO BE SO REAL” Boykin warned in the now deleted post.

Another social media user, who said she was a friend of Cordon’s, claimed the NFL player sent the armed assailant to the home.

Former Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress, however, sided with his fellow athlete, accusing the women of being publicity hounds in an Instagram comment.

“Stop telling lies to gain exposure for yourself,” he wrote on the post. “Knowing damn well you lying.”

And Richie Incognito, who previously played offensive lineman for the Bills, took to Twitter to offer his “prayers” to McCoy.

“I support and stand by my boy, Shady,” he tweeted late Tuesday night. “I know the full story and he didn’t do it. People can be quick to make false assumptions without knowing the full story.”

Georgia police are still investigating the incident, which they do not believe is random.

“The preliminary investigation indicates that this residence was specifically targeted by the suspect or suspects,” according to a statement from Milton Police. Capt. Charles Barstow.

Georgia court records revealed McCoy had been working to evict Cordon from his home since last July, according to ESPN. A hearing had been scheduled in the case for Tuesday, but it was rescheduled for next month due to a personal matter.
