Oh-verjoyed at landmark

- Peter Sblendorio

Sandra Oh made history in the Emmy nominations.

The “Killing Eve” actress on Thursday became the first woman of Asian descent to be nominated for best lead actress in a drama series in the 70-year history of the awards. She had been nominated five times previously for her supporting role on “Grey’s Anatomy,” but never won.

“I’m absolutely thrilled. I feel my community at all times. I am my community at all times,” Oh told The Hollywood Reporter after her nomination was revealed. “I have joy not only for the show and myself and family, but also for my community. Hopefully my community can feel like they have representation, as well.”
