“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek is being sued by a woman named Hanna Ketai who claims his “large black dog” ran from his property toward her, forcing her to fall near oncoming traffic earlier this month, according to TMZ.

Ketai is now claiming in the suit she suffered physical, mental and emotional damages since the incident, affecting her ability to work, according to the entertainment site.

She alleges the dog tried to attack her by barreling from the Los Angeles home of Trebek, 77, causing her to turn away and fall to her hands and knees into the street as a large SUV drove in her direction. The woman, who was walking her yellow Labrador retriever at the time, said a witness was able to help her avoid the oncoming vehicle.

A representative for Trebek did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
