TURNING POINT

After the Yankees got within 4-3, Michael Brantley led off the fifth inning with a single and scored on Jose Ramirez’ RBI triple. Aaron Boone then pulled Domingo German. Boone again was hurt by sticking with his starter a batter or two too long.
