Peril for the yellows

Bronx: Re “Uber alles” (editorial, July 23): If the courts rule in favor of Uber drivers and are classified as employees, many yellow taxi drivers will jump ship and go drive for Uber. That will certainly put the nail in the coffin to the yellow taxi industry, unless of course if they follow Uber’s path and hire drivers as employees, the yellow taxi industry will have a chance to survive as they did prior to implementation of the onerous leasing gimmick.
