Seeking trust

Coram, L.I.: I am sure plenty of people who work at the Daily News wonder why the paper is failing, while many others know the reason: The News decided to be an extreme far-left paper, in a city with an extreme far left paper already established there, the New York Times. If The News decided to publish a paper for everyone, instead of just for the alt-left, it would not be failing now. Most people want balanced news, news they can trust. No one trusts The News, just like no one trusts The Times or the New York Post. The News can save itself if it quits catering only to the alt-left, but instead, reports news fairly and accurately. I know that will be a huge change for your paper, but maybe give it a try. What do you have to lose, besides your newspaper? Louis Burwell
