Inside the panic over Lovato’s OD

New reports describe the panicked scene during Demi Lovato's alleged overdose drama and claim the singer is heading straight to rehab after her release from an L.A. hospital.

It was an assistant who found the singer unconscious in her bed around 11 a.m. Tuesday after a long night of partying, sources told TMZ.com.

The assistant checked on Lovato out of concern and was alarmed enough to call 911 when attempts to wake the former Disney Channel star failed, the unidentified sources said.

According to the outlet, Lovato had been celebrating the birthday of one a dancers at a bar on the Sunset Strip and invited friends back to her house in the Hollywood Hills afterward.

Lovato was still unresponsive when paramedics arrived, so they administered the opioid antidote Narcan, and she regained consciousness, TMZ said.

A witness told E! News that Lovato, 25, had been partying for 12 straight hours and it caught up with her.”
