YANKS, ROYALS WASHED OUT

The Yankees game against the Royals was postponed because of rain Friday night. The game was rescheduled as a split doubleheader on Saturday at 1 and 7:05 p.m.

The Yankees will flip their scheduled starters, with Luis Severino pitching the 1 p.m. opener and CC Sabathia pitching in the nightcap. The Royals will stick with their scheduled rotation, meaning Brad Keller in the day game and Heath Fillmyer in the second game. Tickets for Friday night’s game will be honored only at the 7:05 p.m. game.
