Hit-and-run in Brooklyn

A 57-year-old woman was hospitalized after a hit-andrun driver barreled into her in Brooklyn, officials said Saturday.

The victim was crossing E. 16th St. and Avenue P in Midwood about 11:15 p.m. when a blue sedan struck her and kept on going, witnesses told police.

The woman was rushed to an area hospital with critical injuries, but has since been stabilized, officials said.

No arrests have been made.
