LIBERTY 97-55 vs. Connecticut Sun

Owner James Dolan was on hand to see the Liberty set a franchise record in their 42-point loss. The Sun took control of the game with a 19-0 run in the first half, jumping out to a 37-14 lead. Connecticut led 61-27 at halftime, setting a league record for the largest halftime lead at the time. Four Connecticut players scored in double figures while the Liberty’s leading scorer Cappie Pondexter only managed seven points in the loss.
