Young returns film co. laptops

- Graham Rayman

Actress Sean Young returned two laptops that were removed from a movie production company where she formerly worked, the company said Tuesday night.

Director Timothy Hines said the laptops were returned via Young’s lawyer, Reid Kahn, five days after Hines and writer Greg Kritikos alleged to police she swiped the two $5,000 MacBooks.

“Yes indeed they were returned,” Hines said in a phone interview. “We wish Sean Young all the best. That’s our statement.”

Hines added, “We’re just happy to be back to work on our production.”

A rep for the “No Way Out” actress could not immediately be reached for comment.

The development appears to have ended a bitter squabble between Young and the production company.

Hines claimed Young, 58, stole the laptops from the Astoria offices of School of Old/Pendragon Pictures Production after she was fired for excessive drinking from the project, “Charlie Boy.”

Young said she inadvertently confused the laptops for her own and mistakenly took them.
