After a 30-year business career he was ordained a Catholic Deacon in 1985 and served for over 30 years as a parish deacon (Holy Child Jesus and St Ann’s), the Brooklyn Diocese Chancery and St John’s Cemetery. He was married for 67 years to Clotilde (deceased), father to 5 children; Stephen, Michael, James, Susan and Christine, grandfather to 6: Christopher, Melissa, Katelyn, Melanie, Jennifer and Sarah, great grandfather to 3: Adrian, Aldo and Michael.
