DWEEB: GET UP

It’s challenging for talk shows like ESPN’s Get Up to book guests, like Mark Wahlberg, at the crack of dawn. Yet it was totally lame that he came on via satellite with host Mike Greenberg to shill for his new release, “Mile 22.” Worse still was that behind the actor sat a movie poster with one of the characters holding a huge assault weapon. Nice early morning image for the kiddies, right? “Get Up” should get out with that kind of concession to a Hollywood studio.

What Mike D’Antoni said: “Well, at different points of people’s careers or lives or circumstances, things are different.”

What Mike D’Antoni meant to say: “Carmelo Anthony ran the show in New York, but I run the show in Houston.”
