Rose pained by Argento’s sex payout

Rose McGowan said Monday her “heart is broken” over the report Asia Argento quietly arranged to pay six figures to a former child actor who accused her of sexual assault.

Both women became leading voices of the #MeToo movement after their rape allegations against Harvey Weinstein went public last October. “I got to know Asia Argento ten nths o. Our mmony is the ared in of beg aslted by rvey einin. My art is ken. I on behalf of victims everywhere,” McGowan (inset) said in a Twitter post.

The “Charmed” and “Planet Terror” actress, 44, also urged caution in condemning Argento, 42.

“None of us know the truth of the situation and I’m sure more will be revealed. Be gentle,” she said in a followup tweet.

The New York Times reported Sunday that Argento agreed to pay $380,000 to former child actor Jimmy Bennett in the last year after he accused the Italian actress and director of sexually assaulting him in a California hotel room when he was 17 and she was 37.

The age of consent in California is 18.

Argento previously played Bennett’s on-screen mom in the 2004 film “The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things,” when Bennett was 7 years old.

Bennett originally asked for $3.5 million in damages when his lawyers reached out to Argento last November with claims of intentional infliction of emotional distress, lost wages and assault, according to The Times.

McGowan has been a vocal supporter of Argento and rushed to her side after her culinary star boyfriend Anthony Bourdain died from suicide in June.

Argento also spoke about her own assault for McGowan’s reality series “Citizen Rose.”
