Final steps to Ben & Jen split

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have reportedly reached a divorce settlement.

The pair, who split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage, intend to finalize their divorce once Affleck concludes his most recent rehab stint, according to TMZ.

They reached a property settlement and agreed to joint custody of their three children, 12-year-old Violet, 9year-old Seraphina and Samuel, 6, the gossip site reported Saturday.

The proceedings were complicated by their lack of a prenup and shared earnings during their decadelong marriage, according to TMZ. Garner’s worry over how the divorce would affect their children also slowed the process, a source told People.

“Her No. 1 concern is the kids,” the source told the magazine. “They’ve spent quite some time figuring out what works best for them and their family.”

In early August, a Los Angeles court informed the superstars (both in inset above) that their divorce case would be dismissed should they fail to provide the necessary documents and continue with the proceedings.

People’s source noted Garner and Affleck were close to finalizing the end of their union in the weeks leading up to the “Argo” director’s return to rehab.

Garner was photographed driving Affleck to the facility, the Canyon at Peace Park in Malibu, Calif.

The Oscar-winner has struggled with his sobriety, sometimes falling off the wagon only to get back on and fall off again later for the past 18 months, according to a TMZ source.

Affleck previously checked into rehab in 2001 and sought treatment in 2017.
