HANK’S HONEYS: The trends favor KC big time. The Chiefs, dominant inside the AFC West lately, are 7-2 ATS in the teams’ last seven meetings, and have covered their last five road games against the Chargers. For some reason, Philip Rivers plays his worst against the Chiefs with one TD against six INTs in the two games last year. Andy Reid will open up the offense with Patrick Mahomes but his first start as the No. 1 QB is a key variable, particular­ly against the Bolts’ pass rush.
