2 stabbed, one fatally
Two men were stabbed, one fatally, on a Bronx street early Sunday, cops said.
The two victims were attacked by a pair of men on Westchester Ave. near Pugsley Ave. in Parkchester about 4:20 a.m., police said.
“I heard the commotion and I looked out and I saw that ne of the victims was getting eat up in the middle of the treet,” said neighbor Karol Robinson, 47.
“They were kicking him and punching him, telling him o lay down, and when I yelled ‘hey’ they ran off. And the guy got up off the floor and went across the street to his friend.”
A 34-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the torso and a 35-year-old man was knifed once in the midsection, police said.
“He was leaning against the gray car and then all of a sudden he fell to the floor,” Robinson said of the younger victim.
EMTs took both victims to Jacobi Medical Center, where the younger man died, authorities said.
“It’s always something over here,” Robinson said. “People do be here double-parked playing music.”
