Bayside: Is the City Council bill to let New Yorkers choose neither male nor female at birth a joke (“X marks the gender,” Sept. 12)? This is what the Council spent time and money on instead of focusing on the opioid addiction crisis in our city or in improving our transit system or fixing our public schools? When you are born, you are biologically male or female.
