HANK’S HONEYS: Neither defense seems capable of stopping either quarterback, making the over a tantalizing play even at so high a number. KC should win. Arrowhead is tough on visitors, especially early in the season. Still, in this kind of shootout, spreads come and go quickly. Patrick Mahomes is one thing, a Len Dawson in the making. But the Chiefs defense hasn’t exactly been bringing back memories of Buck Buchanan and Curley Culp. They have allowed 860 yards and six touchdowns through the air. The Niners’ pass defense has been riddled as well but they do have an All Pro CB in Richard Sherman should Mahomes choose to test him while LB Reuben Foster’s return from suspension should bolster the 49ers’ underneath coverage.
