CHARGERS at RAMS

-

4:05 p.m., Rams by 7, 48 ½

HANK’S HONEYS: The battle of Los Angeles shapes up as an entertaining shootout and with the football flying back and forth, the spread doesn’t mean that much. The Rams are looking like a sure fire Super Bowl contender with a multi-faceted attack that keeps opponents guessing. They also have the better defense but Philip Rivers comes in hot with the ability to put up points on anyone. It would have been interesting to see the split between fans bases if the Chargers were hosting but, as it is, the Bolts have become road warriors with a 17-7 ATS in their last 24 games against teams with winning records while going 16-4 ATS in their last 20 games when more than 6 1/2-point dogs. CAN’T HELP YOURSELF?: Chargers and the over.
