ALEC KAZAM!

Like magic, he’ll reappear as Don on ‘SNL’

Live from New York, it’s Alec Baldwin as President Trump — again.

In a move that’s sure to inspire some angry latenight tweeting from the commander-in-chief, the actor announced he’ll reprise his Trump impression on “Saturday Night Live” this season.

“I have fun doing it, there’s no doubt about that,” Baldwin said of playing the President on Friday’s “Origins with James Andrew Miller” podcast.

“They are all old and dear friends of mine, and I love going there,” the actor added of his “SNL” appearances. “When the show is good, there is nothing like it. But for me, I think I’m going to do some of it (Trump skits), but not a whole lot. Because I also think, and this is critical, there is a lot of fatigue here.”

“SNL” creator and producer Lorne Michaels also chimed in on the podcast, explaining that he only learned Baldwin will once again don the The Donald wig when Baldwin told someone at the U.S. Open he’ll return to the role. Michaels added that he can’t imagine another actor playing the part.

“I think there is probably no other actor who is looking to take that and follow Alec,” Michaels told Miller. “And I think, for a new cast member to come in and try, that would be a really tough thing to do.”

The news comes as BAFTA — the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, which hands out the U.K.-equivalent of Oscars and Emmys — announced it’s honoring the sketch comedy show with a special award.

“‘Saturday Night Live’ has discovered, nurtured and celebrated generations of comedy talents,” Amanda Berry, chief executive of BAFTA, said in a statement. “It has also brought the very best of British talent to a global audience.”

The award will be given to Michaels Oct. 4 at DUMBO House in Brooklyn.

“SNL” also picked up an Emmy earlier this week for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series. And Baldwin, 60, scored an Emmy last year for his Trump portrayal on the show.

But not everyone is a fan of Baldwin’s performance as President.

Trump has been a frequent critic, tweeting in 2016, “Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me. Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks.”

Actor Adam Driver is set to host when the NBC show’s 44th season kicks off Sept. 29, and Kanye West will perform.
