A Brooklyn high school teacher facing charges he possessed and produced enormous volumes of child pornography may be released under the supervision of his elderly parents — who are still in the dark as to the disturbing allegations he's facing.

The accused pedophile, Jonathan Deutsch, 34, a disgraced ex-high school teacher at Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences, appeared for his bail hearing at Brooklyn Federal Court on Friday, where his distraught parents agreed to risk losing everything they own in a bid to keep him out of jail.

“I am extremely concerned for his safety,” the man's tearful father, Stuart Deutsch, 66, pleaded in court.

The elder Deutsch, a former city correction officer, and his wife, Donna, are agreeing to put their Florida home and entire savings, valued at approximately $300,000, on the line and act as full-time third-party custodians — which would entail relocating to Brooklyn for the remainder of Deutsch's court proceedings.
