Two dead as violence hits B’klyn
One man was fatally stabbed, another found dead in his homed in a spurt of violence across Brooklyn early Sunday, police said.
The first victim, a 22-yearold man, was stabbed in the stomach during a fight with his neighbor on Bainbridge St. near Lewis Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 2:20 a.m., cops said.
Medics rushed the victim to Interfaith Hospital but he could not be saved. A 20year-old man was taken into custody with charges pending, police said.
Hours later, a 33-year-old man was found dead in his Flatlands home around 7:30 a.m., authorities said.
A panicked family member called 911 after finding an unconscious Sherod Watford with trauma to his torso inside his two-story residence on Avenue M near E. 43rd St., cops said.
The city medical examiner will determine Watford’s exact cause of death. There have been no arrests.
