Rosenstein meet with Prez on hold
A highly-anticipated meeting between President Trump and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was postponed until next week to avoid any conflict with the riveting, nationally-televised appearances of Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford. They did “not want to do anything to interfere with the hearing,” said White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders. No date was announced for the new discussions regarding Rosenstein's once-shaky future with the FBI. The meeting was prompted by recent media reports that Rosenstein discussed making secret recordings of the President and using the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office.
