Gang of youths rob 2 teens in W’burg
A gang of 11 teens — including one dressed in a pink sweatshirt and pink socks — attacked two other teens in hipster Williamsburg and robbed them of about $200 in jewelry, police said Wednesday.
The teens walked up to the 17- and 18-year-old victims, who were leaving a Brooklyn club on Waterbury St. near Ten Eyck St. Sept. 23 about 12:15 a.m., and punched them in the head several times, knocking them down.
The group ripped off their jewelry and took off running.
Cops on Wednesday released video of the teens that captured them laughing as they fled the scene. Six of the male teens were described as white, four as black and one as Hispanic. They were dressed in casual attire. The victims suffered minor injuries. Anyone with information can call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at (800) 577-TIPS. Calls are confidential.
