GIANTS at PANTHERS

-

1 p.m., Panthers by 7, 44

HANK’S HONEYS: This may not be the week for the Giants to sort out their offensive issues, not against a rugged Carolina defense that will be well-rested coming off a bye. The Panthers have a solid front that should get after Eli Manning, with linebackers like Luke Kuechly to contain Saquon Barkley. This is also a solid Panthers offense that can move the ball on the ground with Christian McCaffrey and Cam Newton, a concern for the Giants who are ranked 29th in the NFL against the rush. Will that be enough to cover a big spread? Panthers are super tough at home, 5-0 SU in last six and 6-1 ATS in last seven. Just a bad matchup overall for Big Blue. IF I WERE A BETTING MAN: Panthers and the under.
